The Kempler & Strauss W PhoneWatch is solely distributed by Mobile Concepts (M) Sdn. Bhd. (MCM) locally soon. The award winning W PhoneWatch will be making its debut in Malaysia.
What so special about this W PhoneWatch compare to those China-made phone watch? The Kempler & Strauss W PhoneWatch are designed by the R&D team at California, USA and assembled in China. The W PhoneWatch has delighted and amazed American consumers with its superior quality and innovative design.
The W is what they call it in short term, has the functionality of a basic phone and a watch. The W is a SIM-free QUAD Band GSM phone with 128x128 pixels 1.5 inch TFT LCD touchscreen, VGA camera, Bluetooth Version 2.0, A2DP, AVRCP and multimedia player. The W also bundled with a Bluetooth Stylus headset called the Communicator. Generally, you can paired it with any model of Bluetooth headsets, either a mono or stereo headset.
The Communicator, besides functioned as a Bluetooth headset, it also has the multimedia control buttons to remotely adjusting the MP3 playback from the W PhoneWatch music player. The Communicator is either wearable over the ear or clip on to the shirt pocket. Imagine having the smallest mobile phone in town when you are answering phone calls in the public. Aren’t that cool?
The Communicator also incorporated the noise cancellation feature. This feature will isolated the wind noises and give the user and his callers a crisp and clear conversation.
Having field tested the W PhoneWatch over the Malaysian telecommunication networks. It has given a positive returns. It also have a talk time of 2.5 hours and can standby for 4 days. Meanwhile, the Communicator headset spots a talk time of 8 hours and standby time of more than 6 days using a 120mAh built-in lithium ion polymer battery.
The W PhoneWatch comes with the standard features of a mobile phone. A phone dialler pad, SMS, camera, video and voice recording, call logs, calendar, audio player, photo album, file manager, Bluetooth and calculator. The W PhoneWatch also have an external storage, which user can store his photo, music files into a micro SD memory card. It supports a maximum 2 GB capacity.
The packaging of the W PhoneWatch will includes an extra battery, USB data cable, desktop cum travel charger, ear-hooks, stereo earphone and installation CD. Please note that the final packaging accessories may be varies when the actual stock arrived in Malaysia.
